You don't have to change your life to change theirs!

Bigs and Littles have great fun together - doing everything from bike riding and baking to movies and hockey.  But did you know what the impact of having a mentor is?  Research has shown that having a mentor in their lives has a long-lasting and positive impact on children.  Littles with a mentor are:

  • 52% less likely to skip school
  • 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
  • more likely to get along with family and peers

Volunteer Stories

We got a sense of trouble in the making when we had the chance to sit down with Big Brother Todd and his little brother Julian.  The two have been matched only 9 months, but based on the stories they tell you would have thought they had been matched for years.

To read more about Todd and Julian, and to learn more about other Bigs and Littles, be sure to check out our stories page
